17.06.05 Ranu's Goad Bharai, Lucknow Ranu's marriage got fixed to Deepak Vatsa on June 17th, 2005. Deepak is working as Branch Head, Kotak Mahindra Bank in Kanpur. Both the families have been very close for long - Deepak's mother is a very good friend of my mother. Deepak's mum have always been very fond of Ranu and it was her wish that Ranu should come to their home as daughter-in-law - I am very happy for her! Vatsa family is - Deepak, his parents and younger sister, Neelu - who is a close friend of Ranu. View Photographs 19.06.05 Aashi's Mundan, Lucknow My younger niece, Aashi (Neeraj's daughter) had her mundan ceremony on June 17th, 2005. Mundan was held in Chandika Devi Mandir, on the outskirts of Lucknow.Wish we could have made it - most of our relatives, both maternal and paternal relations, attended. There was a big dinner party thrown at home, later in the evening. View Photographs 10.07.05 Ma and Baba visit us in UK Debu's parents visited us in UK for a couple of months during July and August. It was a lot of fun with Ma and Baba with us in UK - all the good food that Ma use to cook for us everyday, discussions on everything under the sun with Baba, playing cards in the evening, going for walks along the river and visiting various places in UK on the weekends...it's like a dream now. Lady Sangeet will be held a couple of days before engagement and marriage a couple of days after. 17.11.05 Ranu's Marriage, Lucknow Ranu's marriage has been fixed on November 17th, 2005. Marriage ceremony will take place at Butler Palace Colony Club premises, Lucknow. Vidai will be early next morning. |
